Taught by his father to read music at an early age, he later

began to take private lessons on piano then went on to

incorporate guitar. He studied and graduated from El

Conservatorio de Musica in Mexico where he studied theory,

voice and performance. He is transferring to UCSD to further

his musical career. Ricardo is an avid performer and enjoys

teaching part-time.
